Bringing an Edwardian home back to life
This house had been split into two flats in its former life and the ground floor in particular needed restructuring. With extensive internal rearrangement and a rear extension we managed to create a beautiful light and open plan yet functional living space for a growing family.
Externally the extension was kept very simple to provide a contrast to the Edwardian features whilst internally the use of different ceiling heights and styles enabled a subtle designation of the different functions of the space.
